Public transport joy…. Early shift, terrible day. Piss poor value and not many sales.
Monday and I’m despatched to deliver the piss to the GPs. Hazel is due to suffer the final indignity, it only hurts if you get your fingers caught between the bricks. Brief shop in Aldi and then onto the laundrette. My cunning plan of coffee, music and book is interrupted by building work at the garage. Plan B from Planet 57 swings into action and it’s a sausage barm and coffee from the sandwich shop.
Back home and the plan is cook a lasagne for tomorrow, gammon and chips for tonight.

Day was a bit weird, started badly and finished strong. Job opportunity handed to me but would mess up appointments and things, will mull over and don’t have to give immediate response.
Generally feeling like shit today. Don’t know what the fuck is up with me but bottom line is that I’m shattered. Struggle to focus and things aren’t great.
Last day off for a wee while and it’s a busy one. Laundrette day, change pedals day, bake custard pie, make mince and potato pie, give the cat her flea and worming treatment. Hoover and clean the oven and kitchen.
So Laundrette had a dryer hog, it started pissing down as I left. Cat avoided the pills. But on the plus side the custard pie seems to have worked. Mince and potato pie is a work in progress.
Feeling really shit, hit the booze to deal with it, not certain that that’s a good idea. That being said I just continue.
Saturday, little light shopping, drink with C at the Tom & Gerry which seems populated by geriatric one armed bandit raiders with loud voices.
Home and sort the cat litter and wash up. Simple food tonight in terms of Haloumi burgers and sweet potato fries. Making some fruit scones too.
Friday, day off, get to spend it with half term bound C. A bit of a mooch round the shops. Lunch in the Gobin. Relief to have a bit of a lie in, lates are really taking it out of me.
Really pleasant having a day with C.
More fun late action.
Another late, swift ale at the Swan & Railway on the way home. Delight at finding Doctor Morton’s Duck Baffler, seemed entirely appropriate.
Bit of a session on the new bonus scheme, people are getting a bit uptight about it. Had nothing from it yet but then my value hasn’t been wonderful. But believe we are getting there. Think one of the issues is that it is very difficult to calculate value beyond the basics.
