26th March From Below
From Below leads me to the bridge at the station. It’s a place I’ve photographed sporadically because I love the industrial nature and lines it offers.
Odd day, no idea how it finished up but I do know I have a phone to code in the morning so that’s not too bad. Still struggling with HBB but did a regrade. Another cycle to work, came back on the bus. Phone C from below on the double decker she lets me know who I’m feeding.
Elsie has apparently been sleeping most of the day. C is worried.

Cycle in today, nice wee ride in the rain, the glasses definitely need the addition of windscreen wipers. Quick change of plan to go to the top of the Mill to take this. Escherisc view of the stairs from above.
OK and I’m running late. Grab coffee and sarnies and take photo of a sign I saw the other day that made me laugh out loud, people are so feral. Day went better than the last couple.
Swift pint tonight after work, day went a bit better, still not great. On the plus side the team is fab and that keeps you going.
Tuesday and a horrible day. Calls are awful. Still on the plus side a brew at Kawas.
Movements – first late and I’m flying, value is shite, conversion good. Feeling crap. Long shift.
Hmm, well this was slightly odd. Head to Layla’s christening and encounter a set of stocks. Apparently thestocks are a reminder of a time when local criminals, including those convicted of murder, were tried at the Hare and Hounds public house, built in the 17th century.
Saturday and another day off. Lie in it’s nice! Then off to get Greg the bear shrink wrapped. We go via the ATM and follow the shrink wrapping with a coffee. Nip back home and drop the bear off. Meet C at Lidl and shop. Back home for a bacon sarnie.
Day off and Elsie goes to the Vets for her jabs. Given a lift by Steven and Ryan. Cat behaves well, jabs go well. Struggle with tiredness, Elsie and I repair to bed.
A better day both on sales and value. No Ash and ducked out of the bowling with the rest of the team.
