9th January – A shadow
Day begins with the schlep to take herself to work. Leave a little later today and it works out much better, would have been dead stressed of I’d have been at work today.
Car hoover arrives and set it charging. Take the car for a bath, end up in Leigh and fill it up. Update spreadsheet. Bit of shopping in Morrisons and grab a coffee. Home and it’s time to clean the fridge out which is achieved, cooker cleaned and cat litter changed. Hoover the car and jobs a good ‘un. Decide I’d better do something with this year so new year, new learning.
Much discussion around the notion of C’s retirement. We find some sort of financial solution. Not my best moment but C believes it so. That in itself is rewarding.

Tuesday and the first day of driving C to work. The roads are truly horrible, icy and bits of snow. On way to the school we discovered the boot was open. Pulled in sorted it. Was tbh a bit stressed by road conditions and the unknowns of getting to work on time (turned out reet!)

What I wore on a day off. Cycled to the allotment. Did a few chores, put the coffee grounds round the plants. Brief chats with a few people. Then cycle back, grab a pint on the way as I was sweating buckets. Home and quick change of clothes before C gets in from her day with Vicky.
My reflection today – not particularly inspired but there you go. Bleach the bathroom floor… C a wee bit stressed by the toilet which she is convinced is leaking.
Folded
Currently loving and being loved back, Elsie the Cat in action. Back to work today and I get to challenge my Tuesday hoodoo. Conversion is positive, the value is shite! Some of the conversation is fun, some of it not.
My mood in object form… well it had to be didn’t is. Cash in the spotlight points today in preparation for planned camera. Most of it arrives today, some batteries on Wednesday. Bit of a bizarre day, lazy start, cold still evident but slightly less knackered than I have been. Light shop, coffee with C, S and R. Pasta planned for tea.
A pet judging me.
Smells weird. A dead pigeon beyond smelling.
Last of the days off, finally complete the form that has been plaguing me. Whole list of things to do from herself, so I ran round with the yodelling hoover, cooked a lasagne, took a dress round to Joan, glued the dressing table together, hung the washing and dealt with the ants outside.
