Last day of the run of three, couple of days off will be welcome. All the kids are going bowling. Meanwhile there is trouble brewing and rebellion is in the air. There are times that inexperience don’t help. Me I’m chilled!
A day of bike fettling, would be great if I knew what I was doing! C off from work. Waiting on arrival of late required inner tubes! Fucked up when removing the tyres, mind you gawd alone knows how old the tubes were that were in the bike. New saddle arrives as well. Might not get to ride into work tomorrow, depends on arrival time of the tubes. They are meant to be here by 10pm. Arrive at about 7.00, tyres are a bastard to fit back but seem to manage. Get’em back on the bike, will pump up tonight to see how well I’ve done!
Well one wheel is fine, other is fucked… we go again tomorrow night!
Need to get a small socket set and small saddle bag.
Day in. No need to cook because I have yesterday’s lasagne. C not feeling great.
R left keys at the house, eventually get to bed at about 1 am.
An early morning trip to the pictures. As a result of Sunday bus timetables we repair unto McDead Thing before wandering along to the Empire picture house. ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ was the film of choice. Thoroughly enjoyed by the pair of us.
Lunch at Gregs and then into Asda for a bit of shopping. Then home via the Gobin. A pleasant day.
Am currently stressing about lots so needed it. Feeling incredibly down at the moment, being a bit random with my meds right now. Need to get some balance back.
Edit reel I sorted in Wigan the other day. Needed to download the Get Carter soundtrack to add some music. First walkout with the Gimbal. Worked kinda ok, a bit of wobble as I walked!

So 55 today. Lots of birthday wishes which was nice. Lovely card from C and fun card from S. Ch as St bring a card round too which was cool and appreciated.
Morning a bit of a food shop followed by a bit of a contretemps regarding the availability of a pound coin as we move shops between Lidl and Aldi, fetch change and off to Aldi we go. Birthday lunch in the Robin, nice touch was the bar staff buying me a birthday drink.
Steven drags round copious amounts of beer too which is most welcome. A few of the usual suspects like Doom Bar, Bishops Finger and Old Speckled Hen but a few different ones too. I guess that I’m a bit predictable! Lol, we also bought me a bottle of Leffe. Didn’t get round to drinking any of them.
Cal calls after work which was good. Relatively early night in anticipation of work in the morning. Have to admit bed is welcome, not been the best of birthdays to be fair.

An early start and it’s into Wigan in search of today’s photo. Return to the big giant head!
Arrived a t’mill and was first in, sorted my shit and chilled. Not a great day tbh, 1-2-1 with Jess pm. It was ok.
Home to tea and Carry On movies. Could be worse. Now off till Sunday next week and can chill for a bit.

Been a bit of a bizarre day tbh. Up and out early, off to Wigan to capture some images. Still playing catch up with this place. New Long Ryder’s album on the way in. Vaguely thought a coffee might be welcome but cancelled out on the idea, got into work to no chair, Liam next to me had used it, grabbed it back, no headphones, he’d had those too I later dicovered. Have been allocated a locker which is useful because I’ll stash my stuff when we go away to keep thieving mitts off!
Home and a nip to the shop and then a quick meatballs and beetroot pasta produced. Was ok. Pasta was a bit watery.
Still suffering from anxiety and not feeling great. Think it’s change and getting used to things.

Laundrette on the day off, usual change collection route, cash machine, newsagents, chicken shop and coffee at the Tom and Gerry. Bob back to the house to fetch the laundry and it’s away I go. Soundtracks to Ride’s ‘4 EPs’. Read ‘Keep Music Evil’ as I do the laundry. Follow up with ‘Methodrone’ from The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
C meets me at laundrette and we repair unto the Gerry for a swift drink. Flip flop about eating there and decide against. Instead sourdough rye and turkey bacon sarnies at home. Surprisingly tasty!
Next on the agenda a trip to the Turkish Barbers in anticipation of the holiday which begins on Monday next week.
P60 arrives, am feeling really down right now, combo of anxiety and depression not helped by dwelling on a whole heap of shit! It’s not a great place to be! Still onwards and upwards and all that bollocks.
C continues to prepare for our jaunt to Scarborough.
Finally getting this place into some semblance of order and beginning to catch up with the photoaday.
