A day of bike fettling, would be great if I knew what I was doing! C off from work. Waiting on arrival of late required inner tubes! Fucked up when removing the tyres, mind you gawd alone knows how old the tubes were that were in the bike. New saddle arrives as well. Might not get to ride into work tomorrow, depends on arrival time of the tubes. They are meant to be here by 10pm. Arrive at about 7.00, tyres are a bastard to fit back but seem to manage. Get’em back on the bike, will pump up tonight to see how well I’ve done!
Well one wheel is fine, other is fucked… we go again tomorrow night!
Need to get a small socket set and small saddle bag.
Day in. No need to cook because I have yesterday’s lasagne. C not feeling great.
R left keys at the house, eventually get to bed at about 1 am.
Poke in the eye day. Travel with Carol to work and continue on to the delightful Leigh. Arrive too early for the Costa to be open so repair unto McDead thing, mainly because I need the loo. Breakfast and coffee before I head up to to the Walk-In. Wander up the Avenue, arrive there at about 07:45. Hang around 15 minutes waiting on coffee. Then head into the Walk-In. Way too early when I sign in.
Wait around 45 minutes before I get called in to get the poke in the eye. It goes ok.
Walk down to Leigh and light is a vague issue but not enough to break out the shades. Coffee and then head to the bus/
Stop off at Asda in Goldborne looking for fence preserver. Not there so might need a trip out in the morning before I get on with slapping it on tomorrow (weather permitting).
An early morning trip to the pictures. As a result of Sunday bus timetables we repair unto McDead Thing before wandering along to the Empire picture house. ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ was the film of choice. Thoroughly enjoyed by the pair of us.
Lunch at Gregs and then into Asda for a bit of shopping. Then home via the Gobin. A pleasant day.
Am currently stressing about lots so needed it. Feeling incredibly down at the moment, being a bit random with my meds right now. Need to get some balance back.
Edit reel I sorted in Wigan the other day. Needed to download the Get Carter soundtrack to add some music. First walkout with the Gimbal. Worked kinda ok, a bit of wobble as I walked!
