April 19 Glimmer 19
Glimmer 19 and time to try cooking something nice from the Kidney Friendly recipes. Scones made with diet lemonade. Bit dubious until we eat ’em and they’re great.
Tonight we celebrate our anniversary and my birthday at Il Sappore. Unfortunately I’m not feeling great and end up hurling. Whole thing is a bit of a fiasco. I owe C a nice meal.

Friday and I’m knackered, a pleasant day with C. Just chilling. Glimmer 18 done on the heap of lost causes,
Last Late thank fuck. Glimmer 17 is the compulsory dandelion clock shot. Day goes… I’m tired as fuck and grateful it’s all over.
Day 3 of the lates and great delight as I listen to ‘The Demon Barber’ as I’m outside this place. The irony is not lost! Glimmer 16 is the irony.
Glimmer 15 the day I reach fucking 57 and then do a late. Luckily no one susses at work. Day is generally ok and flies by.
Glimmer 14 and I’m in Kawa’s and taking photos of photos. Great coffee as usual and the first of a series of lates. Day goes OK, not brilliantly but you can only deal with what it deals you.
Glimmer 13 and its another of the open air gallery from People Mek Wigan on the way into work. Sunday early and it seems to be a good shift.
Monday and it’s a chilled day, C off so we have a pint and generally relax. Feels like a Sunday! Glimmer 12 is a pleasant day with herself!
Easter Sunday and Glimmer 11 celebrates the fact I’ve finally cracked the cooking of Onion Bhaji after several years of failed attempts! Delicious too! Cook a pork roast for the day.
Easter Saturday and it’s Glimmer 10, cherry blossom always reminds me of 14 Queens Avenue.
