May 24th – Doorway
Doorway to No.4, second day off. Little light shopping, little cooking (some scones and a morrocan chickpea and chicken stew). Not the greatest day, required loperamide.
Generally feeling crap.

Starts with T, the tiny toes of Elsie! First of two days off. Start the day fetching chicken and salad from the chicken shop. Grab breakfast at Hels Kitchen. Fetch gloss paint and a brush. Back home and paint the window sills and steps.
Somthing tiny… the nose of the cat! Last of the set of three earlies, back in on Sunday, then a run of 4 lates. Value is terrible, a bit better today as I finally sold a HBB. Retrieve Jo from the station.
Yellow and I end up reaching for the ducks as opposed to the bus!
Something loud … well its the earbuds that provide avoidance from people.
Well that was an interesting morning, herself goes off on one, I escape to the shop via a coffee which provided me with the shot on the table. Fail to find the required pasta. This is not greeted well. Get on the bike to test my fix (didn’t make much difference, chain still unshipping in any gear other than fifth!). Go to Aldi. Still no lasagne.
So away into Wigan in the morning light so C can cancel her standing order to sort an issue. She’s dead chuffed. We bump into Stue on the way back to the bus station. We go in with surgical precision, into Nationwide and back to Ashton having found the Little Kitchen has closed. Brekkie at the Tom and Gerry’s it is. Then a light bit of shopping in which we find a clock that ticks and chimes (Muggins here pays for the bugger!)
Bloods in Wigan and I’m knackered and so tired I’m On The Ground. Nip into Kawa’s, bump into Fin then realise I don’t have the blood forms. Back on to the bus and it’s a dash back to the Thomas Linacre. They struggle to find blood. Meet C off the bus and a swift pint in the Lickers.
What’s in my bag at Kawa’s. Day three of the lates and I’m still down.
Favourite colour black and Palooka 5 T-shirt from this year’s Part Time Punks. Back to the late shift… knackered and we’ve only just started.
