May 10 – In Bloom
In bloom, yeah a revisit to the tarty onions. In other news we watch Ken Burns’ ‘The Vietnam War’ as I sort out the chromebook. Need to go shopping and sort lunches for the week. Back to lates from Monday and it’ll be an exhausting week.
Brief shop, lunch at the Tom and Gerry after an abortive attempt at the Gobin. Visit the coffee shop and round it off at the Lickers.
Feeling really shit again.

Glimmer 30 and it’s a first outing for the final press thing. Works well coffee is delish. Day seems OK but gets a bit chaotic at the end. Call queue seems to go to pot.
A day of rest with the exception of a bit of shopping, a pint, cleaning the floor of the bathroom and kitchen. Glimmer 26 is back to food! Home and make koftas – they work, the bhajis this time don’t, too much batter. Need to follow the recipe rather than winging it! D’oh!
Glimmer 19 and time to try cooking something nice from the Kidney Friendly recipes.
Easter Sunday and Glimmer 11 celebrates the fact I’ve finally cracked the cooking of Onion Bhaji after several years of failed attempts! Delicious too! Cook a pork roast for the day.
Easter Saturday and it’s Glimmer 10, cherry blossom always reminds me of 14 Queens Avenue.
Glimmer 7 and on a sunny day, I find myself looking up the noses of the heads on the Mill on the way into work.
A bit of a lazy start to the day, showered and then away to Sainsbury’s whereupon I find glimmer 5. Home for lunch and then off shopping again. Coffee and a wee pint in the Tom & Gerry. Am cooking the
