May 10 – In Bloom
In bloom, yeah a revisit to the tarty onions. In other news we watch Ken Burns’ ‘The Vietnam War’ as I sort out the chromebook. Need to go shopping and sort lunches for the week. Back to lates from Monday and it’ll be an exhausting week.
Brief shop, lunch at the Tom and Gerry after an abortive attempt at the Gobin. Visit the coffee shop and round it off at the Lickers.
Feeling really shit again.

Book, grab Ripley Bogle off the shelf, some old Russian glass and the Olympus. Feeling knackered.
Fresh coffee as soon as I arrive at work.
Handmade, the kidney friendly diet and a bit of a disaster. Lentil bolagnese will not remain on the menu!
Sky from Liverpool after yesterday’s trip to the ‘pool. Well today was fun, call to the hospital, C has been sent there with a ?clot. We eventually get out at about 5.45.
Trip to the ‘pool today. Start of with a Snack, sausage sarnie. Then on to The Walker Art Gallery. Bit of nice Paul Nash, bit of Johnny Vegas. Thoroughly enjoyed it. They’re advertising a Holly Johnson exhibition down at The Museum of Liverpool Life.
Journey back from Leeds today and prompt of From Where I Stand – well I stood there yesterday. Up late and don’t have time for planned scran and coffee. Just had to jump the train. Thank fuck coffee was available at Picadilly.
Weekend Vibes and it’s Part Time Punks weekend and it’s a trip to Leeds. Begins well when I miss the bus, cancelled train and it’s travel as normal. I’ve built in time redundancy so not stressed. Get to Leeds and it’s off for lunch in Kirkgate Market. Cracking veggie thali washed down with a Mango Lassi. Then off to find the Airbnd. Positives, it’s central, negatives, how do I get into the fucking place and the host is not the most communicative.
Something Soft well it was bound to be Elsie. GPs this morning where my blood refuses to flow.
Late and it’s last of the series so tea from my favourite mug is a must. We’re clearly in a puckish mood as a team and the banter is flying.
