Unread books that deserve better – Hurricane bought in desperation because I was out and about with nothing to read the other day. The Home Recording Handbook is the latest Newell, a fabulous and easy read that I’m digesting a chapter at a time.
Day one of Remember The Milk in anger and it proves useful, a busy day with lots to do and breaking it down an element at a time helps. Need to reread my way round GTD though.
The GTD method involves five key steps:
Capture: Collect all open loops, commitments, and ideas in a designated system, like a notebook or to-do list app.
Clarify: Process each captured item to determine if it’s actionable. If not, archive, delegate, or trash it.
Organize: Arrange actionable items into relevant categories like projects, next actions, calendar, waiting for, and someday/maybe lists.
Reflect: Regularly review your system to ensure it remains current and relevant, and to identify priorities.
Engage: Execute tasks based on your current context, using the organized system to guide your actions.
